Become A Nevada Wildlife Federation Board Member
The Nevada Wildlife Federation (NVWF) is the oldest statewide conservation organization dedicated to Nevada's diverse wildlife and habitats. Sportsmen would founded the NVWF in 1951 created the organization as a leading voice on issues that affect our wildlife, wetlands, lakes, streams, forests, ranges, and all other priceless natural resources. The Federation represents the views of hunters, anglers and anyone who deeply cares about our wildlife, wild lands, and outdoor recreation.
Board Membership
The Board of Directors for the Nevada Wildlife Federation is composed of community leaders who are dedicated to the mission of the organization. Serving on the Board of Directors is an extraordinary opportunity for people who are passionate about stewardship of Nevada's wildlife, healthy landscapes and myriad of outdoor recreation opportunities.

- Opportunities to engage with policy makers, sign on the editorials, participate in wildlife habitat improvement projects, advise the Executive Director on the NVWF's goals and issues, and be a voice for wildlife in your community.
- A strong board is made up of a broad diversity of backgrounds. Experience in conservation or wildlife management is not required. We are looking for your real life experience and interests.
- Meet and engage with fellow like-minded people who share your interest to improve Nevada's wildlife and their habitat.
- Learn everyday activities and goals of a conservation organization.

- Fully understand and demonstrate a commitment to the Mission of the Nevada Wildlife Federation.
- Represent the organization to their respective communities, and actively seek new opportunities and build new relationships to support our mission and the missions of our partner agencies.
- Follow the Board's policies, bylaws, and resolution.
- Make every effort to attend all Board meetings and related meetings.
