Dear Brian Buttazoni,

Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) for the Greenlink North 525 kV Transmission Line Project. I am writing to express my opposition regarding the proposed actions and the supplemental analysis. 

While I acknowledge the BLM’s effort to update this environmental review, I believe the SEIS falls short in the following areas:

• Inadequate Mitigation: The proposed mitigation measures for the Greater Sage-Grouse are too vague and goes against what the current science is telling us. They lack enforceable standards and long-term monitoring plans.

• Impact on Local Community: The SEIS does not fully address the impacts on local residents in [Insert Your City/County]. Specifically, the BLM and NV Energy have largely avoided sharing relevant information regarding this project to the local communities.

Based on these concerns, I urge the BLM to relocate this utility corridor to run parallel to Interstate 80 where there is more existing energy infrastructure and less wildlife habitat conflicts. The final decision must prioritize the long-term health of our public lands and the well-being of local communities.
